Simple Ways to Create Happiness
The average adult makes around 35,000 decisions a day, and many believe that those decisions do not include the decision to create happiness, but they’re wrong. In Margarita Tartakovsky’s article called 5 Small Ways to Create Your Own Happiness she discusses that regardless of our circumstances, we do have the ability to create our own happiness. One of the most impactful ways for a person to create their own happiness is by finding the positive. It is our choice whether we search to find the faults or the benefits in situations and by finding the benefits and remembering that everything happens for a reason, we are better able to create happiness in our lives. Another way many of us could make a simple change in our lives in order to create happiness is by seeing situations as seeing situations as challenges rather than difficult situations we are better able to create happiness in our lives. When a person views a situation as threatening, they are more likely to get stressed out. But if a person views the same situation as a challenge or an opportunity, they will likely be excited, energized or determined. By making the simple decision to view a situation in a more positive manner, we are better able to create happiness in our lives and live an overall happier life.
